personality:
When Colton was in high school he was a jock and pretty much a rude. He was rebellious, tough, and he didn't care about school. Colton loves to party more then anything he find it a great break for him. He never really change through out the years until the plague took over him, when he turning into the Kanima Colton loved getting the strength he got, sure he didn't want to be this gross lizard looking thing. But he learned to deal with it.

Now that the plague changed him. He is still rude, everyday he does get less rude just because he doesn't ever see people that often. He can be protective of people he cares about. He will also try to out show a person who thinks they are so tough. Colton has a temper that he doesn't know how to control. He will also change into the Kanima if you piss him off, and he has a harder time controlling it when it changes on it own.

Once you get to know Colton he can be very caring, and protective. He might not show it in a crowd because he would like to keep his bad boy/tough guy rep. He does have a probably with relation ships and how most of the girl want that long lasting one. He just want to be able to have a little fun with out have to get tied down.

history:
Before plague:
Colton lived with his parent are his older brother. With Colton only caring about sports and not his grade, him and his parent argued everyday. Colton parents were the type who had gone to a 4 year college, still doing some more college work, they were very successful at their jobs. And then his older brother who they love so much because he was always the A student, taking advance class, and a teacher pet. Colton always believe it was better to have fun as a teen then be stressed out like a adult. He would go to party, get drunk and even do drugs. Most people loved him in high school unless they were a nerd which Colton took most of his anger out on them. Don't get it wrong Colton wasn't dumb he was just smart in his own areas, like sports, building and mechanic.

Once Colton hit 16 he decide to move as far away from his family. He moved to New York with one of his older friend he had met when he was a freshmen. He then helped him run the automotive shop he owned and became the manger while his friend would just got out and party. He worked their for got two years before the plague hit.

During the plague hit him and his buddie got it, instead of dying like his friend did he just got over the plague, little did he know he had turned into a Kanima. He started bleeding out of his mouth and ears. Colton started having a hard time falling a sleep, until one night he just pasted out. He woke up weeks later dizzy and lost. He had stumbled over to the mirror and just about knocked himself over. Colton was in the form of the Kanima. That when he learned that the sickness he had gotten did this to him.

After:
With everyone that Colton knew had died from the sickness. Colton is left alone and to take care of himself. So nothing has changed other then the amount of people and him being a shape shiftier. Colton spends his time just relaxing finding food, and what he find that he wants. Colton doesn't mind finding human as long as they don't try to kill him. He believe that they shouldn't fight just because they were once the same and it wasn't like it was his choose to become a gifted.
