In his youth, Fletcher was the child with a big smile and a lot to say. He met every person with a great smile. Even in his teens that didn't fade entirely, and Fletcher still kept a more mature version of his bright demeanor.

The plague however has changed him drastically. Losing every person he cared about so suddenly left him an emotional wreck. It felt like every week he was holding another friend or family member as they came to terms with their fast-approaching end. His mother had been the last person he lost, and he had sat by her side through her entire illness. When she finally passed, he laid by her body in a desperate attempt to gather some sort of comfort from the last person who had been in his life.
