"The bike!" She exclaimed, just now remembering all of her excitement the night before. She couldn't believe she had forgotten about it, she wanted to kick herself for doing so. She hopped up off the bed, and darted downstairs, not even with a moments hesitation in waiting for Colton. Not even bothering to grab her boots, she burst into the garage.

Colton looked up and watched her ran out the door, just about leaving a trail of dust. Colton smiled and moved out of the bed, he grabbed a beanie and put it on. He then grabbed her boots walked down the stairs and grabbed his shoes before heading to her. He walked in, headed to stand next to the bike. "Well you sure left fast, I think theirs a trail of dust." He said with a chuckle. "Here is your boots by the way, so you wanting take it for a spin." Colton asked raising a eyebrow.

Glancing down at her feet, she checked to see that she wasn't missing any body parts. It seemed she was all there, so she just smiled at Colton, knowing he was just joking about the dust. "Thank you" she smiled, grabbing her boots from him, then walking over to a tool bench and sitting down on the stool positioned in front of it. "Let's get the bike running as soon as possible. I can't wait to ride her!" Her grin widened as she began to pull on her boots, her left then right.

Colton smiled and let go of the shoes. He walked over to the bike and sat on it, he shook it back and forth listening to make sure their was gas in it. "Well I can get it working trust me." Colton said, "It sounds like their is about a half of gas, enough to make it to my shop." Colton said looking at her, she could ride it and colton could easily follow her by running on ground or on top of a house. If he did the house it would be easier to see people if they were going to attack or something.

Nodding, she stepped down from the stool, and walked over to the bike, and grabbed one of the handlebars. "So you want a girl who hasn't driven a motorcycle more than a few times to drive this beauty to your shop?" She questioned. She believed she could drive without wrecking, but she didn't want to take that chance. Apollo looked into his eyes, her eyebrow cocked slightly in a questioning way.

Colton looked at her scratching his head. "Right, well ill drive then and you can ride on the back." Colton suggested. He hadn't rode one in a while but he was always great at riding them so nothing could go wrong. "So is there anything you need to do before we leave maybe grabbed some stuff." He said. He was a little nervous about having her be real close and then her arm wrapped around, but it was for safety so maybe it wouldn't be that bad.

Apollo nodded, then glanced back at the door that lead back into the house. She ran a few things over in her mind, but she knew they would probably be able to find everything they needed elsewhere also. Unless they ran into the Berserkers part of town. "I don't need anything. Lets just get going" she smiled, then glancing at the closed garage door. She walked forward, then bent over to unlock it so she could pull it up. Once it was unlocked she knelt down, her fingers grasping onto the bottom of the heavy metal door. Hopefully nothing had rusted shut and it would open rather easily for her. Standing up, she used her leg muscles to move the door easily. Yes, it was heavy since no mechanics could really be helping her, but her legs were strong from running. Stepping back, Apollo looked to Colton, a hand waving to the outside world. "The road awaits" she smiled.

Colton smiled "Alright then let get going." Colton ran back into the house real quick over to where all the keys were hanging up at. He looked at all of them then grabbed the on with a motorcycle chain. He ran back into the motorcycle and sat on it. Colton placed the key into a turned it on, it had a little trouble wanting to started and it died. Colton kicked the kickstand up and rolled the motorcycle a little trying to get it use to moving again. Colton turned the key again, it started hard again but this time it didn't die. "Well it ready." Colton said with a grin moving his hands over the handle bars. Colton couldn't believe how weird it felt to be back on a motorcycle but it was going to be pretty great once he was out on the road.

Apollo nodded as Colton went back inside the house, dusting off her skin tight pants and cracking her toes in her boots. Reaching above her head, she leaned backwards to stretch out her back, a slight squeak escaping her lips. Excited to be able to be back on the bike, she looked it over to make sure they hadn't missed anything. The brakes seemed fine, and so did the wheels, even though they were a bit on the low side. Nothing really dire.
When Colton came back into the garage and got onto the bike, Apollo stood there and looked him over for a moment. He definitely looked like he belonged on that motorcycle, and the way he stroked he handle bars, made him seem happy. "Yes," she smiled, coming up behind the bike, then throwing her leg over the side and sitting down. "Let's go." And with that, she wove her arms around his waist, pulling herself close so she wouldn't fall off the back of the bike.

Colton looked behind him real quick and smiled. "Alright let roll." He said as he drove out to the road, once out their he turned left and picked up the speed to 30, and then 55. Colton moved around some of the car the had been left on the road or some broken down tree or parts of a house. He turned right looked down the road, their hadn't been any sign of people in the area but it didn't mean that it was clear. He slowed the bike down to a stop and place his feet on the ground so it wouldn't tip.
"Alright we can head to the shop which is about 15 minutes away or we can go for a drive real quick and then head to the shop." Colton asked so far the bike was running well, it just need a small tune up.

Shrugging, Apollo laid her head on Colton's shoulder. "I don't care. You choose!" She grinned, arching an eyebrow in slight teasing question. Tightening her grip around Colton's waist for only a moment, Apollo then leaned back, releasing her arms from around him all together.
She definitely missed the purr of a motorcycle's engine, the noise sent a delightful chill up her spine. Licking her lips, she awaited his reply.

Colton looked back at her. "Alright long way it is." Colton said taking a left instead of going straight. He head down the town passing old cars that we left on the road. The town was quite beautiful even though it had been run down, maybe a little work and well it would be as good as new. Colton grin think about if he should pop the wheel up a bit or not. Colton decide not to just incase she didn't hold on that tight. "How you doing back there." Colton asked her.

"I am doing fantastic!" Apollo grinned widely, leaning back on the bike, her face turned up to the sky. She enjoyed the way the wind lapped at her face, as though it were pulling her away from the ground. Like she was just floating away on a breeze. Wait. She was floating away. She leaned forward in a snap, her hands shooting up to her face, her fingers feeling her cheek bones. They were grainy and there seemed to be a dip in her jaw. "Fuck," she cursed, attempting to pull herself back together, but it was of no use. "Colton! Pull over!" She gasped, clenching her hands into fists, hoping her hands wouldn't start falling away either.

Colton drove with a smile, he was glad she was enjoying the ride. He glanced back at her when she told him to pull over. He slowed down the bike noticing that she started to look like she had sand on her face. He pulled off to the side kicking the stand out then jumpped off the bike. "Are you alright." Colton asked looking at her to make she wasn't going to dissolve.

Apollo held her breath as they came to a stop, trying to concentrate on bringing herself back together. "I don't know why this always happens to me. I start having a good time, and lose concentration on keeping myself together, and everything just seems to fall apart." She laughed at herself. She sounded pathetic in that moment in her own opinion. Apollo needed to work on controlling her powers more, but nothing she tried on her own. Taking a deep breath now, she leaned forward on the bike, bringing her hands to her face. She thought of the pieces of her face that were scattered along the road, trying to bring them back.
