Colton chuckled a bit. He watched her making sure everything was going to be alright. He looked around making sure that they were alone and that nobody was out there. He glanced over at her as she was trying to pull all the grains of sand back to her. He turn back around looking down the street, his eyes changed from being normal blue eye to these dark yellow lizard looking eyes. The lizard eyes made it easier to see far away and could spot someone moving. "How's it going for you." Colton asked her to see if she was almost done.

"Well, it's definitely going" she smiled, sitting back up. She touched her jaw line, happy the grainy feeling gone now.
She turned to look at Colton, who she noticed was looking at something else. His eyes were lizard-like, which intrigued her. She didn't know what his other form looked like, and from the look of his eyes, she could just tell it was powerful.
"You see something?" She asked, looking in the direction he was.

"Well that good." Colton said looking back at her with a smile. He had changed his eyes back to normal before he fully looked at her. Colton was always one to keep his gift a secret just because he look scary. "No nothing right now but we should leave soon just incase someone does come." Colton said with a grin then walked over to the bike.

"Leave?" She questioned, throwing her legs over the side of the bike.
Glancing about, she spotted what seemed to be a mall. Grinning, she stepped away from the bike.
"Actually, how about we go explore?" She proposed, sidestepping. Apollo wasn't afraid of much, except for losing control on her gift and dissolving someone important into a pile of sand. But as of right now, Apollo was pretty sure she would be fine.
The mall looked as though it were two stories, perhaps about thirty or so stores were inside? And perhaps a new jacket was inside that was just her size? She needed to get rid of that sweater she wore anyways.

Colton looked over at her. "Explore." He mumbled then looked around noticing the mall. He shrugged his shoulders. "Sure why not." He said with a grin looking down at the clothes he had on. He did like his shirt and maybe he could find a nice jacket. "Alright let's go." He said with a smile.

Apollo grinned, walking over to the other side of the bike where Colton stood.
"Well then," she touched his chest, looking up at him. She was close enough to where, with one movement, she could kiss him. But she didn't move, she just stood there and stated into his eyes for a good thirty seconds.
"Race ya!" She beamed, dashing away in one swift movement.
Next to cheer leading in high school, track was her second favorite. She wasn't half bad either, setting a school record with fastest 300 meter race.

Colton watched her move toward him. Once she was so close they touched he looked down at her a little nervous. He had never been this close to some unless they were want to kiss or if a guy was drunk and yelling at him about how he would beat him up. He rubbed the back of his neck the watch her run off. Colton laughed and shook his head running off towards her. He knew for a fact that he would be faster just because of his gift but did he want to be faster then her was the question. Colton caught up to her and stay a couple steps behind until he wanted to run right next to her.

Apollo laughed, glancing back at Colton who seemed to be holding back.
"Don't take it easy on me, I won't take it easy on you!" She grinned, coming up to a bench. She jumped, and vaulted over it, and landed on her feet, just like any normal cheerleader would. And without missing a beat, she continued running at full speed, now only a few moments before touching the front door of the mall.

Colton looked at her and shrugged his shoulder. He watched her jumpped over the bench and smiled. Colton ran fast then did a front flip over it. He ran over right next to her. "Well you a little slow." Colton said with a chuckle then past her. He used his abilty to moved quick to past her. He glanced back at her and smiled,

Apollo pouted, watching Colton easily overtake her.
"We'll, that's no fair! I didn't use any of my powers!" She complained. But then again, she was happy he used his powers, she was figuring out why he could do, one step at a time.
Coming up to the doors to the mall, she slowed her pace until she was at a stopping point, and she took a deep breath, trying to slow her heart rate.

Colton laughed. "You never said I couldn't." He yelled. When he made it to the door he stopped and looked over at her slowing down. She seemed a little out of breath. "You alright." He asked looking over at her then opening the door for her to go in first. He fixed his hair which was a little crazy from the wind, sliding his hand on top of his hand flatting it out.

She looked up at Colton, and shrugged "I needed that, I haven't been running in a while anyways. I'm fine." She stepped inside the door to the mall, her gaze shifting to the dirty tile.
This was a mall that seemed a bit untouched, many of the storefronts were still in tact. However, trees and the wildlife had begun to take over, vines wrapped around railings, some of the flooring cracked due to the grass that started to push through.
"Wow, this is one of the nicest malls I've seen in a while" she laughed, a bit surprised.

"Well, you're in pretty good shape yourself," she winked, then turned back to look for a store.
Perhaps Abercrombie & Fitch would have a leather jacket? Maybe a Forever 21, and if they had a Dolce & Gabana she wouldn't object to that.
Maybe if there was a directory? She began to search about the the entrance for one, which is where they usually had a directory. She squealed when she spotted one, not too far from where she stood. Skipping over to it, she quickly glanced over the store names. "Abercrombie, Aldo, Belk's, Claire's, Chanel-oh!-D&G! Second floor, that's where I want to go!" She smiled, looking back at Colton.
"I love malls, I've explored almost every one I've come across since it all happened. It keeps my mind off things, and makes me feel normal" she shrugged.
